Looking for Writing Tips?

PRSA NEW Chapter member Rachel Lom recently suggested a great blog for anyone who is looking for practical tips to improve their writing. Written by Daphne Gray-Grant, aka "The Publication Coach," the blog gets e-mailed once a week and promises to take three minutes or less to read.

According to Rachel, "The blog offers really good tips, and Daphne is a funny and engaging writer. For instance, last week, she talked about the importance of breaking projects into small pieces. She claims anyone can write 300 words a day. She even put that number into perspective by sharing stats on how many words the average person writes in e-mails and on social networking sites each day. It made 300 words seem WAY less intimidating."

In fact, Ms. Gray-Grant just posted something on a new webinar series she is putting together on "How to Get Your Book Published" for anyone who might have the itch to write a book but is too overwhelmed by the publishing process. Check it out.
